powerful gamer

This was a x-mas present for my teenage son. He wanted a computer that would play all his MMOs. The iBUYPOWER Gamer Supreme was recommened by several online gamers and we are completely satisfied. He has played the new Star Wars at highest settings, WOW at highest settings, and many of the other MMOs; without a hiccup. Very powerful computer at a very reasonable price.

Excellent gaming desktop! Can't say the same for UPS However..

I was so excited when my big IBUYPOWER box arrived and while it was big, I was easily able to lift and handle it carefully myself. I stress this point because when I opened the well constructed NZXT Phantom case, I saw my 2TB hard drive snapped out of its position and laying on the bottom of the case. The SATA cable and power cable for the hard drive were snapped off (there were plastic pieces everywhere) and the plastic tray that holds the hard drive was snapped out of its position as well. I have a horrible image of my computer being thrown around the way a baggage handler chucks your suitcase. Sorry about the rant, but I was so appalled by the damage that I had to make it a main point.
Aside from the shipping damage, the computer runs all my games very smoothly. I just bought a new hard drive instead of wasting time complaining about the damage UPS caused or returning it. I guess I was too excited to use it and simply too lazy to deal with endless phone call tag with 1-800 numbers haha.Overall pretty happy with my purchase and while I was initially afraid to buy from IBUYPOWER due to many negative reviews online, they built a solid gaming comp at a great price!

Ive been playing shogun 2 total war on ultra settings and battlefield 3 on high/ultra settings with this comp and the framerates are excellent. My only annoyance is that the two videocards (XFX HD 6850s) can get pretty loud. I installed a couple more fans to keeps things cooler. Oh although it says "liquid cooling" in the description it does not have any liquid cooling. Not a big deal for me but that description was misleading I thought. Still, aside from shipping dangers, this is an awesome deal!

This thing just came today and my god is it fast!. Smooth and stable too. The best $1300 I think I've ever spent =))
UPDATE: [Jan 18th]
I've purchased three of these now and all 3 of the crappy Hitachi "Green" Hd's have died/One PSU died/One video card fan died.
The one with the PSU failure I'm just using for parts for the other two I.E MEM/GPU's/spare Processor if I need one later. I replaced one dead HD with a caviar black
and the least used with a Velociraptor 600 and they're both scooting along quite happily now. I'm not changing my rating I think
these PC's are still good buys although most of the rest of you will be horrified as you probably don't have the money to burn like I do
lol. Too see the price
